XLPE insulated power cable has the advantages of not only high mechanical strength, good ambient stress resistance, good electrical properties and anti-chemical corrosion , but also simple construction, light weight and convenient to use. It applies to electrical power transmission and distribution lines with A.C. rated voltage U./U up to and including 0.6/1kv.

The main features of the flame retardant XLPE power cable is hard to get fire or that the continous burning of cables is vert limited when it is on fire. It applies to the places with many cables laid tightly together such as power generated station , subway, tunnel, high-storey building, large-sized factory and mines, oil field and coal mine. Main characteristics of low smoke, halogen-free, flame retardant power cable is very low smoke emission and harmless (low toxic, low corrosive) besides the property of flame retardant. It can be used in such kinds of places as subway, tunnel, nuclear power station with special demands of property of flame retardant, the density of smoke emission and toxic index when cable gets burning.

Fire-resistance cable can operate normally for some time when it is burning except that it can transmit electrical power under normal condition. It is used in the places such as nuclear power station, subway, tunnel, high-storey building and other places concerning to fire security and its lifesaving.

 Application

The rated voltage U./U is 1.6/1 kv Maximum conductor temperature under normal operation is 90 °c. Maximum conductor temperature under short circuit (Max duration is not more than 5 s) is not more than 250 °c. Minimum installation ambient temperature is not less than 0 °c.

3 core non-armored cable : 15D
